Our west coast drifter correspondant took the time to send us this nice picture of a new offering from Kraft Foods - Macaroni & Cheese Crackers.
However, he sent us no info on the quality of this unique item. So we are seeking input from any readers who have eaten these. Our staff cannot find them in the local area as of yet.
Very bold offering from Kraft - will it go away like so many of the new flavors trend in brand name foodstuffs? On the other hand, perhaps this will become a mainstay in the snacking arena.
if you have had goldfish crackers, you have had these. nothing great, but not terrible either. maybe a couple few stars, meh.
ReplyDeleteThe new Kraft Mac & Cheese Crackers are awesome! I tried them over the weekend and they are so much better than Goldfish. Plus, my son loved them! Definitely worth a try!
ReplyDeleteAre there are other flavors like Jalapeno or Triple Cheesey?
ReplyDeleteI found them in a deep corner of the cracker aisle tonight and hadn't heard of them before (it didn't even have a price tag below it; rang up at $2.99), but the name had me interested. I picked up a box of the cheddar variety (they also have mild cheddar and white cheddar), and I just tried them; very very good, a bit of a bolder flavor than Cheese Nips. The 'macaroni' is indeed that, though in crunchy wheat form, with a hollow center, and the pieces are decent size. I liked them and would definitely try another flavor next time.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I like kraft macaroni and cheese, and i like snack crackers. I usually go with Cheez Its, of which the new duos packages are top notch, But i would like to try these especially the white cheddar. Their unique macaroni shape has me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI still have one of these lodged under my bridge work.
ReplyDeleteHoly hell these are fantastic. They sound weird but they're one of the most tasty new snacks I've found in a long time
ReplyDeleteI tried these for the first time today. I am almost 30 years old, but I felt like a kid eating these. What a great new snack! I have the White Cheddar and have not yet opened the regular Cheddar. I hope they stick around, because everything else I tend to like a lot gets discontinued!
