Doritos Burn: 1st & 2nd Degree Bags Spotted In Primm, Nevada Quik-E-Mart

Our main mobi-man B2 recently spotted and smartly bought what are to the best of our knowledge the last bags of Burn Doritos for sale anywhere. The bags are all stamped with a Guranteed Fresh Date of 4/20/2010. There were no 3rd Degree for B2 to get. We feel his pain.

KFC Phwaa Big Chicken Meal Box From New Zealand Reader Kiwi

Our FPT friend in New Zealand - Kiwi - went mobi on us and captured his latest chicken meal from a Kentucky Fried Chicken in New Zealand. The box has the unusual word "Phwaa" upon it - very unusual. The bird looks solid to us. More from Kiwi to follow soon.

Gummy Tummies Penguins From Trader Joe's - With Soft Tummies

These like fellers are pretty fun and flavorful. They are high-quality gummy with some sort of oozing gel up in their bellies. We cannnot remember the cost bust Trader Joe's is always fair to middlin' on most things. We give these gummi's the "we encourage a two-bag buy on these" review.

Ore-Ida Easy-Fries - Mircowaveable Crisper Box

On sale for 1.00, Doug from our IT department bought a few of these for all of the FPT Team to sample. The idea of crispy fries from a microwave seemed a pretty bold statement and we were eager to test this new offering from Ore-Ida (which one assumes means Oregon-Idaho, however we have not confirmed this yet).

First off, we were impressed with the very thorough instructions and 'careful these are hot' warnings - very nice packaging. We followed the directions exactly - pushing the crisper side of the box down into the fry pile, stuck it in the microwave and scrambled for dippin' sauces. We were not disappointed - these fries were hot and crispy and also nice and tasty. Not sure of the regular price - but at 1.00, we sent a staffer to acquire 10 more boxes for us immediately.

Buffalo Bills Casino: Sizzling Shrimp Fajitas in Primm, Nevada - MOBI Media Report from B2

From our Nevada embedded-consultant B2: This is the best meal out in primm, in my opinion. The sizzling baja shrimp fajitas at Buffalo Bills Casino in Primm, Nevada. The Baja Shrimp Fajitas consists of Baja Shrimp, Green and Red Peppers, Onions, served with pico de galo, sour cream, guacamole, beans, rice and warm tortillas. The price on these, $11.99. There always is a healthy portion of shrimp, and the shrimp size is pretty decent. I attached a video of the sizzling fajitas...wow they where hot!!

Double-Down KFC Chicken Bun Sandwich Photos & Review - Multiple US Regions

Mutiple members of Team FPT have tried the new Double-Down chicken sandwich from Kentuck Fried Chicken and now we have media to present to you.

Upon inspection in the FPT test kitchens we found this to be very tasty as we had hoped. The multiple photos above are of the kind we sampled - original recipe choice - 4.99 on the west coast. Seemed sort of small at first, but was rather filling with the bacon and cheese in the middle. We do endorse this sandwich - it may be sort of a novelty thing, you would not want it daily, but is a nice change from the regular routines. Was nice and greasy - like fried chicken should be - notice the grease stains on the paper towel after it sat there for 60 seconds - decent!

Twizzlers Rainbow Twists - New "Neon" Look & Pastel Taste Combined!

Team FPT is on these in a big way. They are in a small around $1.00 sized portion and found with the general candy bars in most stores.

Twizzlers nailed it on these - not only do these licorice twists have a pastel/neon look they also taste pastelly - neony (yes - we created those words). These do not appear to be a limited time only offering - but you nevwer know on these new unusual spin-offs. Our advice is to grab a few of these ASAP. For collectors, make sure and save one - they may indeed be a one-time batch thing.

Double-Down Chicken Sandwich - Set To Launch Tomorrow 3/12/2010

An alert International FPT reader sent us the following information for which we are grateful as always. It is our readers that have kept us going for 5+ years.

The staff here remembers the night we tried the Low Carb Burger from Carl's Jr. & how suprised we were to find lettuce instead of buns holding it together. Now, Kentucky Fried Chicken has taken the alternative bun idea to a whole new level.

Debuting tomorrow is the Double-Down sandwich at KFC - described as "The new KFC Double Down sandwich is real and it's coming April 12th! This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. Are we gonna try this off the hook offering from the Colonel? Absolutely!

Something went wrong here - in our opinion. We are all aware of the very small amount of Doritos Burn chips that were available to the public - this includes the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Degree Burn chips. At this time, to the best of our knowledge, there are no more to be had - anywhere. However, in every store that the FPT team visits we find huge stacks of the 20oz Pepsi Cease Fire sodas - along with the coupon above.

At first glance, this coupon appears to be a straightforward deal - buy a Ceasefire Pepsi & get a free bag of any degree of the Burn Doritos. However, if you read the fine print - this coupon is good for any bag (single serving size) of Doritos.

Oreo Cakesters - Bold & Brave Offering!

The FPT staff has been meaning to try these guys out, and we have nice close-up media for you to examine. This snack pack of 3 Oreo Cakesters should be around the .99 cents mark in the USA - however we did even better with a coupon for fifty cents off that was right on the shelf.

This sampling was done very late at night, on the backside of a day long food eating bender. After trying to recall eating them and looking at the photos, we humbly admit that while we do actually remember eating these - thats all we can verify.

The wrapper is here and the Oreo Cakesters are gone. Based on prior food bender experiences (ie. binging) we can say with confidence, if these were not really good, then we would remember so.
