Alaskan Pink Salmon Pouches
Our staff came across this by happenstance the other day and we decided to give it a trial. It was on sale for an amazing 1.00 - regular price of 2.00 and some change. This stuff is not bad at all - was actually expecting it to be nasty but we were pleasantly suprised of the quality. It can be used about 1000 ways as well.
The one thing that we found interesting is that this is salmon caught in Alaska, then packaged in Thailand, then distibuted out of San Diego. This fish does some serious globe-trekking.

No desire to try that stuff. However, I did have some delicious orange ruffie last weekend, and some tuna salad this evening.
Perhaps i will check out the piuch and look into one of those 1000 ways to prepare that stuff.

We make our salmon the old-fashioned way... We earn it.
I stand firm on my position on food in bags.
I just snagged the last COHO fillets at Costco. These slabs are decently fresh, the omega fat oozes out during cooking, nothing like naturally buttered flesh!
If the product is "Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon", why is it a "Product of Thialand" as stated on the pouch?
It makes a good emergency food to keep on hand.
