Wild Habanero Cheetos - Way Too Hot

As you regular readers know, Team FPT likes hot & spicy snacks. We were excited when new front office staffer Janet suprised us with a bag of this new Wild Habanero flavor from Cheetos.

Upon choming down our first handful - we were all gasping for water. These are hot - way way hot - even too hot for us. We could not eat these - even with water nearby. In our confused state - Janet came up with the perfect solution. She had noticed we were working a normal bag of Cheetos on a side shelf. We mixed them 50/50 and found that to be a nice hot spicy do-able mix. Try this move - let us know how it turns out for you.

For too spicy water won't help. Drink milk- it takes the sting out of spicy foods.

Good call about the milk MaryBell.

Nice food mod mixing these new cheetos with the original. It would be nice to see a "collisions" line from cheetos, ala Doritos.

I would like to see a video-demo of this mixmaster move.

I got a bag yesterday as part of a "buy this, get that" deal with Pepsi Max Cease Fire, which is purported to "extinguish even the spiciest of flavors." However -- y'all must be Yankees or something. I didn't need anything to cool the burn. I thought the Wild Habanero Cheetos were quite tasty and NOT too hot for me.

The first few are hot, but really they are not "too hot". Sweet Tea seems to put out this so called fire for me.

wimps.

I picked up a bag. They weren't hot at all. They tasted hotter than a bag of flamin hot, but still. Not bad at all.

These chips are the best ever... I don't think they are to spicy at all!

These are super hot, but in a painfully good way. I literally sweat when i eat them, and have to keep tissues nearby beacuse my nose runs. So good.

Had some in Dallas, first few were hotter than "Flamin' Hot" Cheetos, but they cooled off quickly after that, I had two bags this last weekend... you all's a bunch 'o wimps

Wow, too hot.. If I were you I'd consider not eating anything spicy since it will probably kill you. I was glad finally find a snack that had great spice and actually a little zip. Most "hot" snacks are only labeled such for wimps. But then, I eat raw jalapeno and Serrano peppers with almost every meal.

I can't seem to find these anywhere locally any more. Very disappointed.

I'm going to assume that you're white. These weren't hot at all. If anything they need to be hotter, and you need to stop being such a little girl.

Seriously? "Too hot?" Buncha damn manginas writing this article! LOL Just tried them... Saw them in Walmart (in Michigan, to be sure) and my youngest went BERZERK and wanted a bag. I made the mistake of saying "We'll get some later", and now, they're gone... :( Felt really bad that I'd said "no" to him, so I went on a QUEST for them. Found on eBay, for $25.00, shipped, for 4 BIG bags. I know, a bit more than they would be off the shelf, but those are AMAZING chips! Nowhere NEAR "too hot", those might be some of the best Cheetos I've ever eaten! WONDERFUL, citrus-y (is that a word...?), good cheddar flavor to top it all off. Might be ordering more.
